Queensborough National Bank & Trust has been named Paceline’s ‘Top Corporate Team’ for 2024, raising a total of $17,902 in 2024. 2024 was Queensborough’s fourth consecutive year participating in the event, which plays a vital role in raising funds for the Georgia Cancer Center. Over the past five years, the Queensborough team has raised a total of $66,414.50.
The Annual Paceline Ride in Augusta, GA, has become a powerful tradition that brings the community together for a great cause. Each year cyclists come together to ride for a purpose, raising funds for the Georgia Cancer Center. Through the collective efforts of participants, volunteers, and sponsors, Paceline continues to make a meaningful contribution in the fight against cancer, helping to fund groundbreaking research and provide resources for patients.
Troy Breitmann, Queensborough First Vice President, Regional Trust and Fiduciary Manager, serves as Queensborough’s team captain. Breitmann’s motivation to ride is personal. He lost all but one of his grandparents and an uncle to cancer and has seen wife, mother, mother-in-law and aunt fight the dreaded disease. “I ride for the loved ones I have lost and those that have fought cancer,” says Breitmann. “It’s important to me, as a community banker, that every dollar raised stays in our local community, to help our friends and neighbors in their fight against cancer.”
The Queensborough team has already committed to raising $18,000 for Paceline in 2025. Team information, including how to donate is available at https://paceline.org/team/Queensborough.
