Introducing Metter's First Interactive Teller Machine

Queensborough National Bank & Trust Company has installed the area’s first Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) at its new branch located at 205 S Lewis Street in Metter.

QNBTNOW ITMs provide a new and convenient way for customers to bank. ITMs look like ATMs but offer many of the same services that are traditionally offered only inside a bank branch. From the comfort and safety of their own car, customers can now make deposits of cash or checks, cash checks, make loan and credit card payments, withdraw funds and transfer funds. Unlike traditional ATMs, exact change is available, and tellers are accessible via video from 8am to 6pm Monday through Friday and 8am to 1pm on Saturdays.

QNBTNOW technology utilizes a centralized team of tellers, housed in the QNBTNOW Operations Center in Augusta, who can process teller transactions during extended hours, even when the branch is closed.

The bank is hosting an event for the community on Jan. 31 from 10am until 4pm to celebrate and introduce the machine to the community. Hot chocolate and popcorn will be served. The community is welcome to attend.

Queensborough relocated to the S Lewis Street branch in October, after a downtown fire caused significant water and smoke damage to the bank’s previous branch location. The new branch is currently undergoing renovations but remains open.

“It’s always important to us to be here when our customers and our community needs us,” said Erica Allen, Queensborough Branch Manager. “The new ITM is another way we can be here, providing banking services during extended hours and even on weekends.”

Queensborough has been a part of the Metter community since 2001 and remains committed to serving this community through this renovation.
