Abby Goodwin, Vice President of Commercial Banking, Queensborough National Bank and Trust Company, was recently named Lender of the Year by the Small Business Assistance Corporation at its Annual Holiday Award Luncheon at the Savannah Golf Club. 

Goodwin, a Savannah native, has been in banking for 18 years, working her way up from Customer Service Representative to VP of Commercial Banking. Her unwavering commitment to turning her customers’ dreams into realities has driven her to become a key member of the Savannah banking team.

“Every day, I’m inspired by the hard work and dedication of the local business owners I meet. Their success is my reward, and I truly enjoy being a part of their team,” says Goodwin. “It’s also extremely rewarding to be able to contribute to the growth and well-being of our vibrant small business community here in Savannah.”

The annual event also highlighted SBAC’s annual activity, which included funding 82 small business loans totaling over $13.5 Million. SBAC also issued 28 business scholarships totaling nearly $28,000.
